BayanBee in short
BayanBee helps neighbors give away items and surplus food for free. Nothing on BayanBee may be sold.
Who can use it
During the pilot, you must be 18 or older. One account per person. Keep your password to yourself.
Honey
Honey is a reward inside the app. It has no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred or withdrawn. The rules may change while we test the pilot. During the pilot, Honey cannot be bought.
What you can give
Only things you own and may give away, shown honestly with real photos. Not allowed: weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco and vapes, medicine, live animals, dangerous or illegal goods, stolen items, adult content, and anything for sale. We review listings and may remove any listing or account that breaks these rules.
Food safety
The giver is responsible for the food they give: it must be safe, clean and not expired. The receiver checks the food before eating it. BayanBee does not inspect food and is not responsible for its quality.
Meeting for pickups
Meet in a public, well-lit place when you can, and follow our safety tips. BayanBee does not take part in pickups and is not responsible for what happens during them.
Be kind
No scams, harassment, hate or spam. Report anything wrong with the report button or by email.
No guarantees
BayanBee is a free pilot, provided as it is. We do our best to keep it running and safe, but we cannot promise that it will always work.
